About Us

The Orchard Park Garden Club was founded in 1976 and federated in 1977. Our club's civic activities include design and planting of village gardens, sidewalk boxes, and hanging planters. We offer monthly garden therapy at a local nursing home and holiday decorating at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site and Orchard Park Library.

Our club members regularly participate in the Erie County Fair and Plantasia / District Eight plant shows. We enjoy Garden Walks at member homes and nature walks in the community. The club presents monthly educational programs featuring local experts, offers design workshops, as well as an African Violets interest group. Our programs also provide an opportunity to engage with interactive horticulture and enhanced horticultural education.

The Orchard Park Garden Club raises funds and awards several scholarships to school-age, high school, and college students in our community.

Our club flower is the Gerbera daisy, symbolizing a closeness to nature and cheerfulness.
